As a fourth generation farmer on his family farm in Howard County, Maryland, John Dove has set out to meet the needs of his community and support local agriculture. John has always been passionate about farming and after years of producing conventional crops, including hay, John has taken an interest in diversifying the family farm operation.
John has explored different sustainable ways to manage the farm as an effort to increase income and sustainability. It was in 2010 that Love Dove Farms, LLC was established as a new era of Dove Farms. After working on an organic farm, John adapted organic farming techniques and developed a new vision for his family farm.
